You can use for mac laptop with while you have the lid closed. It is a very easy process to do.

1. Make sure that your laptop is closed.

2. Then plug in the monitor using the mini-vga port on the side.

3. Then plug in you mouse and keyboard and BAM you have your Mac running while the lid is closed.

Hello everybody, today i say that i am restarting Mac Secrets. I have taken a break but now i am ready to get rolling. ENJOY.

In Snow Leopard there is a new display of viewing stacks. I personally think it is really neat.

Go to Applications >> Utilities >> Terminal and open it.

In here copy this code and paste it in Terminal

defaults write com.apple.dock use-new-list-stack -bool YES && killall Dock then press enter.

Now in your stacks in your dock right click on it and click List View.

Now you have the new Snow Leopard stacks view.

This is just a quick post about Snow Leopard. In Snow Leopard they added a new feature where you can click on internet or bluetooth icon and get information about it.

1. Assuming you have your wireless icon and bluetooth icon in your menubar

2.Hold Option and then click either on Wireless or Bluetooth, it will tell you more information about it

3. Cool huh

Do you ever have so many windows open that you forget what is in each window, well now there is a way to search inside of expose.

1. Activate Expose

2. Start typing in what you want to search

3. The window will be outlined in blue and that has the search text inside

When you are in expose…

1. Mouse over the window that you are interested in

2. Then hit space and that will magnify the window

On a mac when you change the volume with the keyboard it changes in rather large increments. But now you can change it while changing the volume hold option and shift when you do this it will change in much small increments.
